Help with receiving ScarceComics emails using AOL
Receiving Emails

If you cannot receive emails from us (For example your passwords sent by email), please read below...
You must check your 'Spam folder' if our emails do not appear in your mail box. Your 'Spam folder' may be called something else, for example; 'Junk Email Folder', or Yahoo Mail call it 'Bulk' folder. So please check to see where your 'Spam/ Junk email folder is', then click on that link. Our email should appear in this folder, so at this point please ensure that you highlight/select our email(s), and click on the link that indicates 'This Is Not Spam', or along those lines. This is vital, so that our emails (for example; when you have bid/won an item), can be received by you in your mail inbox.
Each 'Mail' company (for example AOL, Yahoo, hotmail, etc) will each have near enough the same process.
We cannot show you tutorials for every 'Mail' company, but here is an example of how to find our emails using AOL, please read and understand this, and use it to help you find our emails from your 'Mail' company...
1. Log onto your AOL account as you normally would, so for example, click on your AOL desktop icon then select your username and log on.
2. After logging on to your AOL account click on the 'READ' email button which is normally in the top left hand corner of your screen.
3. Look in the new folder (not old or sent) , and see if the email from us (scarcecomics) appears, if so click on it and go from there, if not...
4. Click on the 'Spam Folder' link that should appear somewhere in your AOL mailbox, normally in the bottom left hand side of it.
5. Now look for our (scarcecomics) email within this folder.
6. Once you have found the email sent from us click on it ONCE to highlight it, then click on the This is not Spam button which appears somewhere within the mailbox, normally at the bottom and in the centre of it.
7. After clicking on the 'This is not spam button' you should be able to receive emails from us with no problem, for example auctions you may have won etc.
8. If you haven't already opened the email sent from us and read it, please do so and it should have the information that you wanted or needed.
...We are very sorry for any inconvenience that may have been caused because of this, we have contacted AOL a great number of times by phone and email to try and solve this problem for us, but they have been frankly very, very unhelpful. Their service and help departments are very poor, and we do not recommend the company to anyone.
If you still cant view the email sent by us, please either...
1. Register again (you may need to use another USERNAME and/ or email address), and follow the same steps again as above.
2. Use a different email address which is not AOL, for example hotmail.com
3. If none of this works please contact us click here, and we will be happy to help you.
